If you saw a zebra on the wall you need to know that this is Zuk Club. An art-group, consisting of 9 street artists and their friends. Zuk Club's history is one of those cases when being in love with your business and hard work pays off. During 10 years of its existence the group managed to participate in many exhibitions, to design clothes and to organize several street art activities and this is not a complete list. It is quite possible that none of this would have been if not for the settled expression between guys "Zebra Flew Where" (Зебра Улетела Куда - the first letters of the Russian words make the sound ZUK). A meaningless joke in an abbreviated form became a name for the graffiti team ZUK and the zebra itself turned out to be a good luck mascot. It usually appears in many works of the group in different shapes. At the beginning the name could hardly be connected to what the guys were doing but after a while it became a major influence on their work. After some time the word Club was added. Quotation: "With the name extension the interests have expanded." The team started practicing street art about 6 years ago and still keeps following this way. Activities of the group flowed into the street art sphere and graffiti-decor. The team does experiments on any accessible and hard accessible surfaces, their work is distinguished by the freedom of manners, choice of ideas and extremely funny poetics due to an alcohol and drug delirium. Today the art-group's interests tend towards the monumental and contemporary art as evidenced by numerous photos and the participation in various expositions and festivals during the last year. Zuk Club is, so to speak, not even a team, Zuk Club is some kind of hoax representing a mythical harmonious team, which for some inexplicable reasons, remains single-hearted, no matter what.
